Morwenna Loughman

Morwenna joined Aevitas at the end of 2024 after a decade spent as a commissioning editor at Penguin Random House and HarperCollins, where she had the privilege of working with authors such as Hilary Mantel, Nigel Slater, Anna Jones, Anthony Doerr, Jonathan Franzen, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Marie Kondo, Tim Ferriss and Professor Steve Peters.

As a literary agent Morwenna sits happily at the generalist end of the spectrum, and represents a broad and diverse roster of award-winning and bestselling authors globally across non-fiction, fiction, and children's; her clients include journalists, academics, influencers, actors, broadcasters, musicians and chefs. Morwenna is always looking to connect with writers who have a purpose, and whose work speaks to the extraordinary heterogeneity of human experience.

Morwenna graduated with a 1st-class MA in English Literature and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin, before training as an actor at the prestigious Drama Centre London. She has extensive experience in audiobooks and podcasts, having set up the London office of a Palo Alto start-up in 2018. In 2025 Morwenna will also be collaborating with the London Film School on a series of workshops and short courses about the power of storytelling.
