An author, journalist, and broadcaster, David Baron is a former science correspondent for NPR whose work has been honored by the National Academy of Sciences and American Association for the Advancement of Science. His first book, The Beast in the Garden, won the Colorado Book Award, and his second, American Eclipse, received the American Institute of Physics book prize.
