Nina Caplan is an award-winning journalist, author and speaker who started as a film critic, broadened out into theatre, art, photography and book criticism, worked at the European, the Guardian and Time Out and now focuses on wine, travel, food and France. A drinks columnist for The Times and a travel columnist for Club Oenologique, she is a contributor to Travel+Leisure, Food & Wine, Conde Nast Traveller and various other UK and American magazines.
Nina's first book, The Wandering Vine: Wine, the Romans and Me, came out in 2018. Her second, a cultural history of the Michelin Guide, will be published by Bloomsbury USA and Little, Brown UK in 2026. She lives between London and Burgundy.
